S3's embeddedMIND(tm) extends Wind River VxWorks support
*Reducing Cost, TTM and Risk for TEMs" Silicon & Software Systems(S3)'s embeddedMIND Product Division today announced that the latest version of embeddedMIND supports VxWorks 5.5. This adds to existing embeddedMIND support for VxWorks 6.x made available earlier this year.
Jim O'Donoghue, General Manager, embeddedMIND, commenting on the announcement said: "Support for VxWorks 5.5 further increases the options for system architects planning to upgrade from legacy northbound interface solutions. A broader range of supported RTOS's decouples the management layer choice from the Operating System and enables platform strategies and reuse across product iterations".
