MINDLink(HPI) is an off-the-shelf management solution that combines S3’s embeddedMIND management framework with the Hardware Plaform Interface (HPI) Chassis Management standard from the Service Availability Forum (SAF).
S3’s membership of SAF and work with existing hardware vendors has allowed delivery of a pre-integrated solution, enabling network equipment manufacturers to minimize time-to-market and reduce overall development costs and risks.
Based on the OpenHPI standard, MINDLink(HPI) works directly out of the box and can be easily extended to provide management of proprietary / non-standard features offered by the various hardware vendors.
MINDLink(HPI) allows immediate chassis management across multiple interfaces such as Command Line Interface (CLI), SNMP and Netconf.
